According to ESPN Soccernet, it has been confirmed that Benfica have reached a deal with Chelsea to sell Ramires for £18.2million. Comissao do Mercado de Valores Mobiliarios (CMVM) made a statement to the Portuguese regulatory authorities saying: “Benfica hereby announces that it has reached a preliminary agreement with Chelsea for the definitive transfer of the sporting and economic rights of the professional footballer Ramires for the amount of €22,000,000.”
