Manchester United striker Michael Owen was injured the last time he played at Wembley and is hoping for a marked improvement on Sunday.
The 30-year-old was a regular in the United squad until he suffered a hamstring injury during the Carling Cup final against Aston Villa in February.
He could now play some part in this weekend's Community Shield encounter with Chelsea and hopes the pitch will be better this time around.
